A family story
The Farm of the Chapel owes its name to the small chapel adjoining the building. It has existed for several generations with the Boufflette family. Our grandparents, passionate farmers, passed on to us the love of this profession and respect for the land. Our dad continued the farm as a hobby, and today, it is I, Adrien, who wishes to fully take over this farm where I grew up.
My two sisters, Clara and Valentine, also help me manage our little shop. Our work is primarily family-oriented, and we want to uphold the values of our grandparents in this place that is part of our history.
A respectful and committed agriculture
We grow fruits, vegetables, and large crops, and we raise Belgian Blue cattle, laying hens, and broiler chickens.
We cultivate and raise with passion, respecting nature and animals. We have chosen to switch to organic production for fruits, vegetables, and eggs. Our goal? To guarantee you quality products that are certified and environmentally friendly.
But by the way, what is organic?
Producing organically is not just a label; it is a daily commitment. It involves adhering to a very strict set of specifications and accepting numerous checks to ensure that our customers receive products that are respectful of nature, animals... and your health.
- Certified organic seeds and plants: to start on a good foundation.
- No synthetic plant protection products: instead, we use more natural methods to protect our crops from pests and diseases.
- No herbicide: in organic farming, the word herbicide does not exist; manual weeding is fine :)
- No synthetic chemical fertilisers: in organic farming, it is the soil that works and provides us with its best offerings.
- An administrative follow-up and regular checks: to certify compliance with the specifications.
By choosing organic products, you are not just buying food, you are supporting quality, transparency, and an environmentally friendly mode of production.
